From mid-May to mid-October we are
pleased to offer the following facilities at
Penshurst Place, on an exclusive use basis:

The candle-lit Baron’s Hall; can be used for
- a civil ceremony, if required, from 4.30pm OR
- a wedding breakfast for up to
136 guests from 5.30pm
- evening entertainment until mid-night, with
a 20’ x 20’ dance-floor supplied for
up to a total of 180 guests

The Sunderland Room; can be used for
- a civil ceremony, if required, for up to 120 guests, from 3.00pm
- a wedding breakfast for up to 90 guests

The Buttery; can be used for
- a separate bar area, leading off from the evening
entertainment in Baron’s Hall

The Inner Courtyard; can be used for
- reception drinks and photographs (either Baron’s Hall or the Sunderland Room may be used as an alternative, should the weather be inclement)
- your private, outside area for the duration of your wedding day

Access to the formal, Tudor gardens;
- until 6pm (also open to the visiting public) for photo opportunities.
(Please note that no food or beverages are permitted in the formal gardens)

Use of the private entrance of Penshurst Place offering;
- a seperate entrance to Penshurst Place for you and your guests
- stunning views of the front of the House
- ample, free parking - area for fireworks, if required

Facility fee 2011/2012: £6,995 + vat

A 10% discount on the facility fee is offered for Sundays, when the option of wedding celebrations concluding at 11pm is taken.

A 25% discount on the facility fee is offered for Monday – Thursday inclusive (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays).

If a civil ceremony is required, marriage ceremony fees apply and are payable to the Kent Registration Service.

On Saturdays there is a minimum number of 80 guests required to dine from Leith’s fine dining menus. At other times of the week there is a minimum of 30 guests required to dine from Leith’s fine dining menus.
